We thought we'd keep you updated on how things are progressing.

(It's slow, but we're getting there.)

WRITING

We separated our script into three acts and started editing. The next step will be to add choices.

We decided to limit the choices and lock them to the love interests.

Choices will not affect the game's ending, only how you get there and with whom.

ART

Almost all of our backgrounds are placeholders. Some of them need to be re-rendered, and others need to be created from scratch.

This part will likely take the longest since we're having difficulties with our current PC setup.

So, the backgrounds will be done last. Our priority is to finish editing the script and adding the choices.

The good news is that we have completed all of our character sprites. Character expressions, casual clothes, school uniforms, and even supporting characters are all done!

DEMO

We moved the demo scene to the first act. There are minor changes in the demo, but it still reflects the characters as they are.

Our original plan was to release the game chapter by chapter. We later decided to focus on finishing the game and release it as a whole instead.

WHAT NOW?

We're currently editing our script and adding choices. After that, we'll begin working on the backgrounds.

The coding part is always the easiest, so when we get to it things will go much faster.

We're hoping to have a finished game before the end of the year.

Things may be moving more slowly than we would like, but they are moving.
